parking brake adjustment

hi everyone, first time writing on the forum.

i have a 2005 g35 coupe rwd. my parking brake feels like its loose, every time i go over bumps i hear a clicking noise because the p brake is loose. anyone know how i can the p.brake? because when i push the p.brake a little bit and go over bumps the noise is gone.

do i need to change the brakes? or an adjustment is possible.

Rear parking brake is adjustable. Once you remove the rotor there is a **** with notches like in the image below that is used to adjust tension on the brakes.

You just use a flat bladed screwdriver to twist it a certain direction. Your wheels should still spin freely when you have tightened them!

Now that I think about it you can still adjust it with the rotor on. There's a rubber cap you just pop off and use a flathead to turn.

i already adjusted that to the max, if i adjust it any more the dist wont go in.
if you take your image as a reference the noise is coming from the loose spring holding the brakes together.

You adjust it with the disk brake installed. The spring should not be loose.
