The best option would be to have it repainted by a body shop. That whole quarter panel will need to be re-cleared to properly blend it.

You need to repaint that area, I don't think it's possible to spray clear coat only as is and have it turn out any better. It might even look worse.

Only option is to have this area repainted! Don't go to some cheap shop like One Day Paint, color won't match and it will look worse. I can tell you why this happened but you don't want to hear it...Gary

damn hella swirls tho. Id recommend claybaring, compounding, and polishing your paint to get your car looking brand new. Just don't be too aggressive when compounding because of the minimal clear left.

This...^...is what should have been done from the moment his G35 left the dealership! Chances are very good he's not the original owner and who knows what this coupe went thru in it's life. All the LTC in the world won't change the fact that his clear is cracking/flaking and needs to be repainted...Gary

Only way out is redoing the panel completely and blending but it will be a waste of time since it's going here, it won't be long before it starts elsewhere and then you will be doing that panel. And no it's not cheap. Quality cost money. Most of this is caused by our wonderful EPA requiring water borne paint since the late 90's.
