Hey guys, has anyone seen the JDM double DIN kit for 2003 model year in stock anywhere? I'm looking for the willow (tan) version. Nissan Race Shop has them posted on their webpage, but that is for a preorder from Japan with an unkown ETA. Any help would be appreciated!

 

I'd check grubbs infiniti or ebay. A backorder from Japan can take up to 2 months.

Wow like two years ago they were selling for $350

 

They still are around $350 but everyone's on back order. I think they're trying to take advantage because it looks like you can order now. They may have them in stock.

CZP has em for $359 and I found another site with them for $329. Both on back order tho. The willow is the hardest to find too (I also have willow). I have nav too, so that makes it even more fun.

 

Wow Yea fun indeed. Honestly if you're not looking to change it out very quick I'd save the extra money for other improvements

 

Yeah, seems like the only places that have them in stock today want $650 -> $800

 

Found someone selling one on craigslist. Looks to be silver tho but he has the JDM AC control maybe he'd be willing to ship it for cheap and narrow your search down to just the Double Din shell

but yes I called a ton of places and its on back order from Japan with no OTA and people who have it are taking advantage of that.

 

FYI - It looks like Nissan Race Shop has a few of the double din setups for 03-04 listed on eBay and they claim they are in stock ready to ship. I ordered one and am hoping to see it this week!

Just ordered this. We'll see if I get an email tomorrow saying something about a mislisting. I can't see why this place would have it when no one else does. Very weird. I haven't even been able to find these used on eBay much less from a company. I'll let you know.

 

Update: well, so far, I've gotten confirmation on the order. They had a black, silver and willow kit. I ordered the willow, and it has already been removed from their site. The black and silver still seem to be available. Hopefully this is legit.

Maybe they had one left of each kit.

Their rep emailed me after I asked them. Said they just got a lot in from Japan. Looks like our ship has come in. Haha
