I would like to install an after market cat back exhaust to my g35 coupe but I want to keep a clean sound. I've heard the cheap exhaust and to me they sound like garbage. I don't want anything real loud since it is my daily but I would like something that sounds better under a pull. What exhaust do you all prefer?

I am pretty impressed with the ART system that I just put on a 370Z. Sounds good and while the addition of the new cats resulted in most of the power increase, the system most likely added some measure of performance.

If you're seriously looking for an exhaust system attend a few meets in your area, talk to members and listen to their exhaust systems! You can listen to vids all day long, they're only as good as the K-Mart/Wallmart systems they're recorded on. Spending those $$ you need to hear various systems in person! This advice comes from a member that has had 5 systems on his coupe, only 2 were sponsored...Gary

 

I just installed fast intentions cat back and hfc and it's been great. Loud when u punch it but pretty quiet when in idle. Also keeps the sound of the stock G. Fitment was perfect and it looks great. But I'm sure there's lots of great cat backs. Just my 2 cents.
