Basically long story short I have to replace the front bumper of my 05. Mechanics werent sure whether it was the stock bumper or another. Ive been looking up the bumpers and was considering telling them to put an 06 sport bumper on my 05 but i need to know if this will fit. Does it?

 

how much will a bumper cost? because u prob gotta paint it anyway so you might as well invest in a aftermarket one. like kurama z, or inven.

 

well they said they have the stock one ordered and once it comes they will paint and match it to the car. However, they said I wanted to make sure my car didnt have the sport front bumper before they put it on and paint it so that i may possibly tell them to repaint it. Did the 05 come with two different front bumpers for the sport/premium package like the 06? and also will an 06 sport bumper fit (tool-wise) on an 05?

 

and also it was about 200 for the bumper. no additional charge for the paint

 

06 Sport bumper should fit an 05. The difference is at the bottom, more lip, indention in the middle, slightly wider at bottom, but all the attachment points are the same. It will fit

Besides 200 for an 06 sport bumper and brand new paint is a steal. Should be able to sell it for three times that if you don't like it.

Thanks guys, wasnt able to find the 06 oem sport bumper online so I'll be sticking with the 05 stock. Might just add a lip on it later if it bugs me out

 

Hey, first, all body parts for all coupes and all years are completely interchangeable.

Second, can you ask them for another sport bumper for $200 for me? Goddamn. Killer deal.
