Intake gaskets

I am in the process of changing the drivers side valve cover gasket. In order to do so most of you know you have to take the upper part if the intake off. The gaskets that are on my intake and plenum are like a thin metal gasket and I was wondering if they are re usable?

Are you talking about the black gasket the runs vertically under your lower plenum?

As long as they're not damaged, yes.

Yep, as long as they aren't too bent. I've had the same gaskets in place for 8 years without any problems.
