Ok so I am doing my own oil changes and was advised to go for the one with metal end caps part # 15208-9E000 but this is the response I got from the Infiniti parts guy...

"that filter is for the 4.5 liter cars. it will fit you coupe but is just
slightly longer. it is 7.82"

"The 15208-9e000 is available. We show the 15208-65f00 to be the correct filter by aplication. The only differance between the two is capacity. They both have metal end caps and check valve. The 15208-9e000 runs you the same price $5.99 plus shipping."

So have they revised the 15208-65f00 to have metal end cas now? B/C I was told that this model had cardboard endcaps...
