So I rear ended someone today, no damage to their car, but my bumper will need replacement. She didn't even take my insurance information and let me slide.

Options I've considered:

Ebay Prepainted OEM Bumper: $406

Ebay Primed OEM Bumper: $252

• See if I can find a shop to paint for a decent price (I'll install)

Ebay Inven Urethane: $525

Does anyone have any advice on how I should go about getting my bumper replaced. (edited from repaired to replaced)

Chicago, you're a long way from my neck of the woods. Pick up your "Yellow Pages" under automotive and look for bumper repair. We have a company called The Dent Man, he does the paintless dent removal and repairs bumpers. There should be someone in the Chicago area doing the same type work...Good Luck!

Thanks guys. I'm actually in Charlotte. Paintless dent isn't going to fix this. There are holes in the bumper (that longer vertical line is actually a huge hole), and paint is stretched and cracked. The bumper is also deformed. I'm going to call the infiniti dealer in the morning. Sometimes they have these pre-painted.

What sucks, is that bumper is 2 weeks old and painted from a accident a couple of weeks ago where a giant tire was launch at me on the highway from another car.

 

I highly recommend you go for the invent style.

 

Don't do pre painted just in case it doesn't match. Most quality body shops have lifetime warranties also.

 

Inven or nismo. Nows the best reason/opportunity to upgrade.

 

good luck rocking the inven on a stock car. its gonna look goofy as hell with no other kit pieces like sides and rear
