350zevo rear sway bar on G35c question

Hey guys,

I read somewhere that when installing the bar, they had to cut through the aero plastic fins..Was this a pain? And does it effect the cars aerodynamics at all?

Also what stiffness would you reccomend for citydriving..I only drive with the VDC on when I am on the highway..so yeah, keep that in mind.

Thanks!

Mike

I had to slice through my undercar areo aids to install my rear EVO350 bar. It was easy, but I've been working plastic in one way or another for most of my life, so. I only had to cut a tiny amount each side, it won't effect aerodynamics.

Since your talking about a rear only bar mod, start with full soft and test carefully. If you don't have the desired effect, simply raise the bar to the med setting and again, carefully test.

And, would you reccomend getting a front strut tower bar?

THANKS!

I do recommend getting a front bar as well.

While DcSports is rumored to be developing a front STB for the G, I'll believe it when I see it. The G35 does not have the 350Z's special welded on front STB mounts. Plus the G35 routes is A/C return lines in the way. If the Dc bar does see the light of day it will most likely bolt to the top of the shock mount directly, something the Z avoids for a reason.

Front and rear 350EVO. I only have the Cusco on the front because I swapped out the Cusco rear bar for a EVO350 rear bar. One of these day's I may pull it off, and get the 350EVO front bar.
