Wire tuck and engine dressing will probably become a thing tho. Like jersey said, I'll smoke some crack and get a wire brush.

Your not close to modded out... Im almost done, I have a fully built turbo charged motor, widebody, custom interior, custom gauge lighting, but my Engine bay lacks... Its never EVER done. Once I get it in for show season this year, I know I will go air or a cup kit. Then paint the bay... Eventually do a twin turbo charged LS motor... POSSIBLY try and do a SRT engine in there...

honestly there comes a point of "modded out" that comes with a show car, and with your average guy we actually desire less than that. I think that is where dirty is. the stock car offered more than he expected, and to get it to where he wants will take less mods than expected, but he wants to do a full build.

Yeah. You hit the nail on the head there. Obviously I can do a trillion things to it if I'm just wanting to throw things on (underglow anyone? Haha). My theme is to generally make it look stock, just with a better stance, and the better body parts from throughout the production years (I.e. 06 headlights, sport bumper, etc.). Performance wise, I want all I can get from the suspension and NA motor. I was was gonna do ported and polished heads, but the cost and labor to remove these heads is ridonk. I mean I bought this thing on a whim without knowing anything about it, so there was never a plan.

I will most likely go SC when I have to replace the motor, but that'll still be awhile. Like I said, I still have a few things to do, but I'm close to being done. Chassis bracing will be up next.

Probably because CA and turbos don't mix well.

Also, less lag with SC, and usually more reliable.

The Vortech SC is essentially a turbo... Requires high rpm for power.

I may be wrong but don't ported and polished heads kinda go to waste on a non-boosted VQ? Im digging your OEM+ wanted look though. Maybe add some subtle body mods as well (i.e. Rear carbon diffuser) and like other people said you can always go H.A.M. on the engine bay and do a wire tuck or focus on cleaning other aspects of it up. I'll admit my guilty little pleasure is surfing the Engine Bay Pics thread on here and getting ideas. It also encourages you to switch up your set-up. Maybe you could find an intake or exhaust you like better, and who knows maybe one day you will want suspension adjustability? As a gear head you may think your nearing completion, but when you do.... we all know you'll want something else! It's just how it works haha

There's a little less lag, but yeah pretty much

No! actually the heads are generally the biggest restriction on making power NA or otherwise, so PNP the heads is always a good idea. expensive though. And from what I've seen people regardless of how happy they are with their springs eventually end up on coils. I guess we'll see.

This thread is so confusing... There are plenty of things I could do to ,y car... If I could... I would dump tons of money into my G to make it exactly how I want it...

^but it's how he wants it, and with the exception of adding a buttload of power, he mostly likes how the car is stock.
