New 6MT owner
Won't stop as quick? Best check what the actual is on that one, versus what it may feel like (wouldn't try till the brakes have been heat cycled for a 1000 miles or so, but...) The G brakes from 60 in 112', the GT-S in 130' (source R&T); from 80 the G in 199, the GT-S in 212. However, there is no denying that the Toyota weighs a grand less, and feels lighter.
Great car, but you don't see a lot of cross shopping between the two. Most Toyota fans and even non-fans spend time lamenting the farewell of the last gen Supra. When I look at the current Toyota line-up, and the plans to scrap the Celica and MR2 Spyder at year's end, I shake my head and wonder why do they even bother with F1?

yes, I agree....toyota is getting lame now. I think they just fired a bunch of top executives. I guess time will tell about the braking.
derek, whats your opinion on engine brakein? With my last car I broke her in as the owners manual states, but with this one im not. I read somewhere that with a new engine you need to seal the pistons by generating high pressure (high revs, rapid decelleration sp?).
