Unique build, alot of time and effort so far.

Just questioning why proportional valve is mounted in engine bay with dash removed it would be easy to mount in cabin for easier access while driving.

How feasible is nitrous on a drift car ?

Well the dash is going back in. I have it out to do the roll cage. Where it is mounted though is behind the front fire wall. I removed all that metal so more room back there and on the sides. For nitrous you use a RPM activation unit. So it will work basically like a turbo kit, between set rpm it will spray, below or above a set rpm it will cut off.
thanks that's G!

I got the wholes in the trunk closed up just have to clean it up now and finish up the main vents to paint it. Also got some work done on the rear firewall and got my Lexan in!

So I went to put my new clutch in and found out that it was worse then I thought. It warped teh flywheel so now I have a 16lb flywheel coming in. I also finished most the brake lines. (WIll finish rest today) I also got my rear firewall bolted in last night. Hoping to mount the new rear lexan window and roof Plexiglass. (sunroof removed) I went with plexiglass on the roof just in case ever got in a bad wreck and doors would not open, can brake plexiglass to get out.

Thanks guys, I am trying to get the car back together this week, my flywheel I am hoping will come in tomorrow. It is in San Antonio right now, well since yesterday so think it will be in tomorrow. Now that my weekend is over I will be getting back to work on it tomorrow. Over the weekend I picked up exhaust piping for turbo, intercooler, blow off valve, and a turbo timer (guy threw it in for free). I have a CT26 turbo, and my friend who is a big MR2 guy had a few laying around so he is bringing me one down from Houston next week along with my hood. I am going to be fabing a sequential duel turbo kit for it. For those that might not know what that is, basically the exhaust going into the first turbo, then comes out of it into the 2nd turbo. the compressor of the first turbo then feeds into the inlet of the 2nd turbo. So basically 2 turbos in line with each other. Why you might ask? Because it is ****ing cool... That's why... lol

On a side note, this weekend I had to repair a customers motordyne exhaust on his 370z. He just bought it in november. check this **** out.

This is how you have to fix it. Just tig welded the cracks. it had 3 or 4 cracked. It was cause by rain. The manufacturer did not add filler rod to the weld so the welds are super thin. the cold water on the hot exhaust just cracked it. IDK if all are like this or if they just forgot to add rod, but heard someone ealses in san antonio did it too.

I got the sunroof delete finished today, also got the new 16lb flywheel in and on the engine with the new clutch. I finished all the brake lines as well, have to bleed tomorrow. Bought some full synthitic Dot3. Not sure if i put this in but had issues with clutch pedal getting mushy from fluid getting too hot, so I bought Motul660 dot4 fluid,so that should be fixed. Also go the transmission on. Have to fix my shifter and will put the motor in the car in the morning. Hopefully tomorrow I can post a running video. Just have to finish the radiator mount in the trunk and weld up the lines.

Well I got the engine in today, sucked ***.... Next time I am dropping the subframe like I wanted to do to start with. When putting the engine in, it bent the damn line I made from bending it when taking the engine out. So I have to make a new one tomorrow... again... I did get the new transmission fluid in and replaced some of the fluid in the rear diff. Tomorrow I am going to fab the water lines for the rear radiator and hopefully fire her up. Then when the wife gets home bleed the clutch, and brakes. I bought Lucas full synthetic Dot3 for brakes. I also replaced the spark plugs today. They look like they where all getting the same burn which is good. Question though, anyone ever get weird brown and white powdery looking **** in the spark plug tubes? When I took mine out had weird **** in them. I am guessing the brown might be oil that burned off. Also when putting the engine in I broke my damn oil pressure sending unit.... SO going to order an oil pressure gauge from equus which I can wire to that new sending unit and computer will see oil. Also thinking about putting a kill on the oil line so if i lose oil pressure engine shuts off. Just as a safety thing. Also I was messaged by a vinyl shop today in San Antonio that wants to talk about wrapping my car. Totally doing an anime theme on it. lol Yes I know the car is "sexy" but have to put some of me into the car. It is a drift car anyway, have to have fin with it. lol
