Oh, and performance and mileage claims I can't tell you for certain. I never had a regular one it there long enough to compare. Every time I buy a car I go get a K&N and head to my muffler shop for a new exhaust. I get about 24mpg combined with about 80% highway doing 80.

Wow. I'm getting about 14mpg right now & it honestly sucks because I keep seeing people with 18mpg+. Looking for ways to boost up my mileage a bit. Figured the filter would probably give me like 1-2mpg more but I may be wrong. It's fine though, I'm loving the gas prices right now

It's okay haha. So what type of used exhaust would I be able to find in my price range? I'll be joining a couple of groups on fb after work.

Update: Still looking for something to replace my cats with. Actually considering test pipes now. More specifically, the Motordyne Art Pipes. I've done my research and watched videos on these with the stock exhaust and I like the way it sounds. I've seen so many comments on the drone and rasp though. About not having any to having a lot of both. The posts I've been reading were from a few years ago. I want to hear from people that go on here now and had experience with these on a stock exhaust system. How is the drone and rasp of these art pipes? How about the smell of the fumes?.. Is the smell really bad that you would want something different?

Also an update on the K&N filter I installed last month.. I have seen a difference in MPG. I now get 17-18MPG and I haven't made any changes with my driving habits. Don't really believe the filter did all the help though because I did a full tune up on it before I installed it, so that might of helped a bit too. I'm just glad I don't get such bad mileage anymore. Still wish I had better though like other people here in this forum lol.
