I read in one of the posts about the Elite Protection plan and that it's put out by Infiniti. I contacted them and I'm reveiwing what I need to do, but I'm curious why I can't get the same thing through the dealer. Maybe I can, but I hear it's going to be way more expensive.

Any advice?

 

The Elite Protection plan thru Nissan is the only safe way to buy an extended warranty! Contact Nissan or Infiniti and inquire about the cost. Shop around and find the best deal, cost varies! After market warranties are a ripoff, I've seen claims denied because the vehicle owner changed tires to a larger size!

It seems odd that if the warranty is offered via Nissan that the price would vary. I filled out a form online and received an email from an Infiniti dealer out of Scottsdale, AZ. The website is http://luxuryprotectionplan.com/ and it says it's from Nissan and it lists the Elite Protection Plan as one option.

I agree with the other after market warranties, they are shady at best.
