03 g35 oil leak

I know others have posted about this issue before but they have not answered my questions fully. My g35 coupe is leaking in a couple different place. One place I know of for sure is the O ring, but other than that I don't know what it could be. It's more towards the back and passenger side of the engine. any ideas if it's the valve cover or oil cooler lines..? Please help!

ktaha2,

My 03 has 117K now, I had the very same problem. I replaced the valve cover gaskets and to date I have zero leaks. I used an aviation two part sealant simply because it is a product I have used during my entire career and have always had the same excellent results. I applied the sealant to the locations recommended by the manufacturer in the Infiniti service manual. I chose not to replace the valve covers and applied sealant to the spark plug tubes. I followed the hardware torque specifications to a tee and absolutely no leaks yet. As with any sealant, the most important thing is to ensure you have a clean surface free of any contaminants, particularly oil residue before the application. You can see some of the pictures I posted in the following thread. Good luck!
