So I brought it to the dealer. They found a fuse relay that was busted. Fixed that and they both work well now. The two fans should turn on at the same time. No more problems.

 

do you have the part# that they replaced so I can check mine out. I had a small leak in the smaller coolant hoses, replaced them and was doing fine, till I sat in the parking lot today with the a/c on. I'm pretty sure the passenger fan helps cool the car when its sitting as no overheats when cruising.
