Grinding noise do i have a bad clutch?

Grinding noise do i have a bad clutch?
I drive a 2003 6MT, and it seems to me like the clutch makes a grinding noise sometimes when i put the car in first gear or reverse and if i put the car in neutral it still makes the grinding noise until i let go of the clutch. Does that mean that i have a bad clutch or is it the transmission? Please help and thanks.
