my check engine light is on!!!

my check engine light is on!!!

damn, after 76 miles, the check engine light is on already?
should i reset the ecu?
will take it to the dealer on monday

Probably not the best thing to reset the ECU since that wipes out any data in the memory for reference.
If there is a problem somewhere, that data may pinpoint it.

I suggest that if you can't see anything obvious like a loose gas cap, or MAF left disconnected, take it in for assessment, where the tech will scan for error codes in the ECU memory.

the car only had 76 miles, havnt done ANY mod!
barely touched the car.

no, i did not touch the gas cap, i still have half tank left, it was filled by dealer.

Is it possible the dealer didn't tighten the gas cap? They make mistakes too

If the gas cap isn't on tight (3 clicks), that can make the light come on.

Could be that or im assuming since it didn't come on before 76 miles were added on the car, then its something that wasn't connected or wasn't tightened under the hood during factory production and it just came loose now.
