I think its a good combo

I called stillen and asked if i can buy just the air box.
I lied and said the original broke lol 75 for just the air box not bad.

I dont think you should go without an actual air box.


The pop charger fits pretty snug in the airbox i must say. No touching at all but anything bigger wouldnt fit. Prefect size if you ask me.

I did alot of searching before my purchese and all this argument about the Pop charger being bad because of heat and you should go with the Stillen if anything.

I also added some protecting around the AC line. (some autozone plastic)

I am like guys...why not get the pop-charger and combo it with the stillen airbox? lol


z-tube is the real winner tho. A must.

 

This doesn't look a lot different than Stillen's z-tube cold air intake combination which is the system I run as my backup. No you won't receive any whp from this system but it should sound good and won't suffer from heat soak.

Nice - I should have read up more and done this. I let Z1 sell me the ztube/pop charger without thinking about it (heat soak on the intake wasn't a problem on my old car) and have the exposed filter in my engine bay now... Will have to look into doing what you did to fix it now.

 

Awesome. My next mods are a ztube K/n drop in but I was thinking about the pop charger for sound because I don't race it on a track its just my daily driver. I want the pop charger to be blue thou is that a different intake all together? and I can put a air box when I buy the filter does it come with it originally?
