Stillen Z Tube Installed

Installed a Stillen Z Tube and a K&N high-flow air filter last week

Before and After

I don't notice more hp, however I do notice quicker throttle response. The stock intake box looks like a pretty good design as far as allowing air to come in. Does a POP Charger make any difference?

From what I've read, pop charger really won't make any difference compared to your set up. Your next mod should be MD plenum spacer and Mrev2 if you have the rev up engine.

I have a 5AT so I'm not sure if I have a rev up engine or not. I've seen the plenum spacer mod, but not the Mrev2 mod. To be honest I'm not racing so I don't need her to be but so fast

All 5ATs are the standard DE engines. No rev-up.

Plenum spacer will be a nice one for sure. After that you can call it a quits. Further mods will be more pricey.

It does look good. I never noticed any hp gains from my tube replacement & K&N drop in.

I have tried different intakes including the pop charger. There aren't any performance gains just different sounds. I do like the little PSSST sound the pop charger makes tho.

I've put a R2C Air intake on my 03 coupe 5AT. At 4300 rpm it def. sounds beefy. At idle speeds it simply purrs. it's helped a bit on mpg (up 3 mpg from 16 as long as I don't get cocky with the throttle)
As for Horsepower or torque: Can't say unless I Dyno it.
Mine has 117K miles and I just replaced all the wheel bearings. HUGE difference.

I remember really liking the way my G sounded after first installing the Z-Tube many many moons ago. I didn't know it was going to change the sound at all or expect it and was very surprised the first time I really stepped on it and noticed a more pronounced 350Z note to the motor in comparison to a stock G.
