service engine soon light came on.

S0 today I was driving, car was driving perfectly and then I go into a store come out and it takes awhile for it to turn over. Service engine soon is a solid light. Any suggestions? Here's a pic.. also my mileage light is out but that has been like that since I got the car a month ago. Car has 75k miles.

Go to an auto parts store and have them read your SES/CEL codes.

We don't know the cause, so don't ask!

This goes for anyone that gets a SES warning on their dash, we can't tell you what the problem or cause is...fact!!! You have to find out what code your ECU is sending by going to most auto parts stores or Nissan! Only then will you be able to fix whatever issue your car is having...not before or by asking us!

Good ol cam position sensor. Common issue for these vehicles.

I just went to midas and was quoted around 620 for both sensors.. does that sound reasonable? Also is it a major issue that should be fixed asap? Does it cause the engine to take longer to turn over Or would that be a different issue.

Sorry for all the questions, just not to car savvy.

620 is SKY HIGH!!!! ... the parts only cost like 60$ *u need 2 I believe*

labor time should be an hour or 2 max .. that's how long it took me to put mines in .. they easy to do .. just in a tight spot ..

go OEM on those if you want piece of mind, but plenty of people have no problems running the aftermarket replacements.

as far as a timeline on when to replace .. ASAP!

with it being bad, your car could cut off in mid commute and cause you to crash or other bad things could happen ... it is not something i would stand by waiting on.

just dont pay through the nose to get the job done...

How much did you end up paying for the replacement parts and from where?
