65 M.P.H.

I remember reading a while back that some people's G coupes wouldn't break past 60 in 2nd gear.?!? I tried mine out today and realized that mines goes wayy behind that. I can hit about 65-67 mph in the top of second...

Re: 65 M.P.H.

They must have put taller gears in yours making it slower. LOL

"You'll get none if you start some!"

Or maybe you hit the rev limiter so many times breaking it in that you knocked it higher.

Re: 65 M.P.H.

maybe your speedo is inaccurate... or maybe you glanced at the speedo too fast and thought it was faster than it was. have you gone to bigger wheels? Or maybe your g is just cooler than everyone elses

You just LOVE to beat cars to death, don'tcha?

Christmas, what fool in their right mind would be taking a car over 60 MPH in second gear... I guess we know now.

Re: 65 M.P.H.

ey Conquie, Are you back for seconds. Why? I am already done with you...

But yea Its called RACING! Thats usually when you push your car to the limits to beat an opponent. Jackass! Go stick your [censored] in an ac outlet...

Now Regarding my tranny...I think it may have something to do with this new tranny they gave me. It has a completley different feeling clutch than the original tranny and it seems to be doing something different than a lot of other peoples. Those of you who are on your second tranny..please reply if you are noticing these differences...thank you much.

Fascinating... I suspected you were too ignorant to realize what a fool you'd made of yourself in the other thread. Now at least I know for sure. By all means let us know when you're on your second engine. It'll be a valuable lesson to all that are interested in knowing how NOT to treat their vehicle.

Re: 65 M.P.H.

Conquie, Let me put it to you this way. I bought this car to have something fun to play with and be my daily driver at the same time. I didnt buy it to put a diaper on it and sing it lullabies in my garage. You may have your reasons on buying this car. But from what I perceive, you don't deserve this car. You should go trade it in for a grand marquis or a minivan. This car is for nissan enthusiasts. Don't try to be something your not man.

Maybe you were going downhill in second to get it going that fast.

Re: 65 M.P.H.

If you ever use the words "Grand Marquis" or "Minivan" again, we're going to have to tar & feather you. Those are not words to be used lightly around here....

I had a Grand Marquis as my rental while my G35 was in the shop. Big base-model boat was a bumpier ride than my sport-tuned G35.
