Well, tomorrow I start work at the Infiniti dealer down the street from my house. I am a finance major who decided to switch my career path for now. I am going to start out in sales and see where I end up from there. I think it has to do with my love for cars. I just wish I bought my g35 after I got the job 
I am banking on the Skyline GT-R coming out next year. Hopefully it will go through like I have been told. I will be the first to get one around this area :P , I hope. Anyway, if there is anything I can do for anyone around the MD area or if anyone needs anything let me know. I will see what I can do for you. Also, if anyone is in this business and has any advice for me please let me know...I always enjoy learning new things. Thanks in advance.

someone told me that infiniti dealer employees didn't get a discount on the G ... only factory workers type that actually build the darn thing.

Good Deal on the new job. Looks like your OK on the purchase of the G35 prior since there is no discount. Since you were on the forum first prior to the job I think you should be sure to get the scope from the regional sales manager on all the G35C news and pass it on to us! LOL

I thought VPP pricing went to any employee that has affiliation with Nissan. Except at the moment there isnt VPP pricing for the coupe, because it is still too new.
Well I do know that Nissan employees don't get a discount at Infiniti...at least that is what my friend who works at Nissan told me before I bought my car??? Yeah I will pass on all info I get. From what I heard from someone who attended some important sales meeting in Vegas or somewhere out west the new GT-R will be close to 400hp. It will have a Getrag six speed (here was something special about the tranny, but i forget now). They are planning on using the current motor, but it will be sent to Cosworth to be bullet proofed. Also it will be a single turbo set up..and I heard it will be a large single tubo at that. How much of what my source told me is true...I don't know...but I will be sure to find out as much as I can.
JBA in Ellicott City, MD. They just changed ownership. The old dealer had a bad rep, we hope to change that.
