So what do you own
Coupe or sedan
06-07 jectors are for a coupe
You posted in sedan section

$700 for good condition projectors is a good price

Yes i have a coupe , made a mistake but figured it doesn't matter since both can be retrofitted. I have a 05 coupe with HID no projectors, honestly they suck and im compering to mazda 3 with hid projectors .

OP go to planet HIDplanet and check out the forums there. Probably should be a few local to you retrofitters hanging out.

If they're unfamiliar with the G35, just point them to a few driver retrofit threads.

Easiest method to get projectors would be to get those 06/07's for whatever they're going for.

Better method - though it may cost more depending on projectors selected and labor - would be to get that custom retro.

Lucky coupes get a drop in option while sedan'ers get stuck with fugly ebay cheap retros.

For now until funds allow go with 06-07 projectors-complete assembly.

I see a bunch of deals on fb typically in the 5-600 range
Later on
Retrofit them with TSX lenses or quad jectors etc

The first gen headlights really sucked, which is why we chose to go with the '06 projectors! Retrofit or working to improve the '04 headlights won't come close to the projectors, save your $$ and just do the upgrade to '06s it's worth it!

if you do go the retrofit way, i would def suggest to retrofit in some s2k projectors. best single xenon you can get if you dont care for bixenon. i never use my highbeam. I always go for the s2k projectors with a clear lense.. godly width/distant beam spread
