you think guys will sell their 2k5 rims?

Just wondering if you think as many people will go aftermarket with 2k5 rims as they did with the 03/04 18" rims.
of course.......the reason I ask this opinion is I'd love to grab a pair of the 19" but I can't see a lot of people selling them *shrug*

The problem is the that people who are ordering the early 2005's are getting the forged 19" wheels as part of a special upgraded package. These people most likely already want those wheels and they're paying extra just to have them, thus the reason that few people are selling them at the present time.
Now that the new 6mt coupes are here, they will all come with the new 19" wheels from the factory. Since more and more people will be buying the 6MT coupes, some of them will want to upgrade to aftermarket rims and tires and you probably will start to see more and more of these wheels available.

It's great until you see another and another and another with the same damn wheel.
Then it gets old and you want something different. And below is a true statement

I've wanted to change stock rims on every single one of my 4 previous cars except for this one. These stockers are staying on for good. Besided I couldn't justify paying $3500 for a set of replacement wheels/tires unless I could get at least $2500 for my set. The only aftermarket setup I'd be willing to get are 19" Volk SF Winnings with rubber. The 19 " tires alone on the stock wheels are worth over $1000. It's just my guess but people probably aren't going to pay $2500 for a stock wheel setup. If I'm wrong feel free to PM me.

I'm keeping the stock 19's, just need some different brakes underneath to look nice. The stock brakes work great, don't get me wrong, they just don't look all that much. Some cross drilled or slotted roters, and some flashy stop tech calipers and all is good

Have my car since Thanksgiving, haven't seen one identical (Athens blue and 19's). Its going to suck once I do, but these rims are not coming off. Let me tell you, they can take a beating too. I've been through so many potholes and even at high speeds and not a probelm yet (knock on wood). Great rims, im keeping them on. Whoever sells their stock 19's is making a mistake because they are worth keeping.
