Am I delusional or does the G35 have a damn good stock exhaust note?
I prefer the stock note. While I like most aftermarket exhausts I hear, i'd go crazy having to listen to that on my car for more than an hour.
Yeah but this dude is used to listening to crazy awesome $hit like Pagani Zonda-F, Lexus LFA, Lamborghini Murcielago/Aventador and other world-elite cars. Anything else sounds like crap compared to vehicles of that caliber.
.
it kinda makes me giggle...
I prefer the stock G35 exhaust. It's nice, deep and throaty. Not too loud, but perfect.
Some of the aftermarket exhaust I hear are terrible. Some sounds raspy like there's an exhaust leak somewhere and other sounds like a dying cat. WAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH, WAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH... Like stfu with that crap. lol
The stock G35 exhaust is just perfect. Not the ricer "look at me" cause just saw the movie fast and furious.

I have a muffler delete right now, but i did enjoy the stock note when i had a muffler. the reason i went muffler delete over an aftermarket exhaust was because i didnt want to lose the natural sound of the VQ just to be loud. so just chopped off that hunk of junk and freed up the engine a bit more
The coupe sounds like trash with the exhaust removed, I would definitely reinstall it, at least the sedan has a more noise restrictive setup and they can SORT OF get away with it. A coupe without a muffler it's a blend of "fart box ricer" and "trailer park meth mod" and is one of the most hideous sounding engines of all time.
