Need Help: Voodoo13 Front Upper Control Arms
Need Help: Voodoo13 Front Upper Control Arms
Anyone heard of this brand Outcast Garage is taking pre orders for the new control arm for the 06 Coupe.
How do these compare to SPL Control Arms and the Stillen
Worth the upgrade.
Currently have KW Variant 2 Coilovers with Motordyne Swaybars.
Hopefully ill install all new bushings with the control arms
Any input or suggestions

They look to be very well built, but I don't see how to adjust camber on them I only see caster adjustment.
They are expensive too, if money wasn't that big a deal I would go with the spl all day.
I would also look into the spl front lower control arm inner bushing. Lowering puts a lot of stress on that one bushing the spl actually has movement in it and is maDe of aluminum instead of rubber. would go with white line for the other bushings up front.

Well I bought the white line essential bushings kit which includes new control arm bushings so I'd figure to wait and get a set of control arms for my suspension as well.
Just trying to figure out the best option

Considering the spl design is easier to adjust on the go I would get it. From all control arms I seen they are the best. I'm personally gonna try out the kinetix control arm. It's $250, the machined ends look to be good quality and they aren't cast, both adjustable camber and caster, the design is super easy to adjust and service if you need to replace ball joint or something it's what I decided to go with.
But like I said if money was no big deal id get the spl.
And the new control arms will have good new bushings it's the Lower control arm setup that has the most strain and wear.

The voodoo looks great cuz you adjust it without removing anything but the wheel. I don't however know how you can measure camber as you adjust. I'm sure there's a way, but I don't know it. They don't have bushings tho, so I'm assuming the heim joints will be LOUD just like the SPL. I wish someone could give a proper review of ownership.
The kinetix are great, but they do not have caster adjustment. They're also not ideal for a any car with a moderate to excessively lowered car as the balljoint boot will rub on the tires. They do have a lot of adjustment and fairly easy method of adjustment. The energy bushings are crazy noisy tho (thank god for the zerk fittings), when not greased, so there is maintenance involved. Adjustment works by removing the spindle from the ball joint..this is a problem cuz it involves special tools (well uncommon tools anyway). You need a 1" crescent wrench and a 1-1/8" crescent then its a pain to go turn by turn just to get the thing off. All in all its a good design but a bit of a pain.

I said kinetix because that's the toe and camber I'm going to get in the rear.
The Z1 are still $250 both camber/caster adjustments.
