VDC off issue when turning on headlights?????

Got back on the G35 wagon about a month ago. I am having a issue with a 2003 coupe. When turning the headlights on the VDC off light comes on. Also the VDC off button doesn't work. I have went through all the wiring, I pulled the VDC switch apart all seem in order. I pulled the headlights apart. Cleaned and painted them. I also took the the ballasts apart checked for corrosion and resealed them. I reseted the computer, checked the brake fluid and cleaned the abs sensors. Nothing is coming up on my scan tool. Scoured the web. Running out of ideas.....

Digging this out of the grave. The same has just happened to me and I can't seem to find anyone who faced this other than you. Was this ever solved? or encountered by anyone else?

Probably bleeding off a bunch of voltage to ground from a bad ballast or wiring but not enough to blow the fuse.

Unplug the ballasts individually, turn on headlights, see if one or the other is causing the issue. If both ballasts unplugged still causes the problem then it's wiring somewhere. Just keep isolating sections of the circuit until you find the culprit.

what did you guys find out? I’m having the same problem and I have looked into everything. Was it a bad ground on the ballast?
