Brake Question

Hey Guys,

I have been having some issues with my Ebrake and believe it may be a good time to just upgrade all the brakes to Akebono's. My questions is when upgrading to akebono's do i need to purchase a different E-Brake set possibly larger? or will new oem fit?

Upgrading your brakes doesn't mean you need to go with Akebono's and that excessive expense! Going with DBA rotors, GoodYear brake lines plus better pads like Hawk HPS pads make a vast improvement! This upgrade along with doing the bed in process (Search) will give you 30% better stopping ability and close to zero brake dust! Your E-Brake just needs new pads to work correctly, just replaced mine...Gary

thanks gary, I have to admit part of it is me wanting something sexy peaking through the rims but probably better doing as you said and putting that money to suspension etc and getting a bbk later
