Rebuild

Need some pointers on rebuilding my 03 G35 coupe. Rings went out so i have to rebuild the engine. Would it be best to bore and go bigger seeing how i have to do a complete rebuild or stay stock. Yes i want to turbo in the near future.
Whats the pros and cons from this?
Would smog be a issue?
What else aside from a master rebuild kit would be needed?

It's not worth it to rebuild a VQ. There's a certain amount of expertise needed to do it correctly, and it best leave to the pros. Use your motor as a core and buy an already built motor from Import Parts Pros. They sell multiple stages of motors that are already built for boost-ready applications.
