I have a 2007 G35 Coupe and I just installed a pair of the JDM taillights.

My USDM OEM ones had one harness, but the JDM has two. The big harness was a plug and play direct fit. But the second harness is a small one which is specifically for the trunk button. What is the method of getting that hooked up? Thanks in advance.

There's a thread on here explaining how to get it wired, if you search I'm pretty sure it'll turn up. Only thing I remember from it is one wire from the small plug goes to ground and the other to power.

 

Yeah I searched, but I had no luck finding detailed instructions.

But I actually ended using the harness from my OEM taillights and put them on my JDM taillights. It's literally plug and play and now my trunk button works on my 2007 coupe 😊

mine worked. had an 06 with jdm tails. i dont have the car anymore but my trunk button worked. i might have used the oem plugs too cuz there is one small light that usdm has that isnt on the jdm light. just left it without a light
