Will these HFCs be enough?

Hey guys, I just bought a 2005 G35 6MT coupe last week and it popped p0430 codes and I took it to a muffler shop and they said the cats were bad.

When they gave me a quote the price of the cats set came out to like $580 before labor just for the catalytic converter set, but I told him I found cheaper ones that are high flow online.

I showed him this link http://www.enjukuracing.com/products...h0gaAuYs8P8HAQ
And he said that would only be enough for one side.. But it shows two catalytic converters for $379.. So I'm confused. Would I need to purchase 2 sets of these or is the mechanic just stupid? I know it doesn't have 4 converters....

Any help is appreciated as I don't want to spend am arm and a leg to repair this..

You should also replace the O2 sensors while you are at it, usually if the cats go bad the O2's wont read properly anymore anyway.

Ok, cool so if I buy these and take it to the shop this will replace both of my current cats? And yes I'm gonna get the o2 sensor as well. I showed this one to the mechanic and he said I would need to order two sets of these and I thought he was an idiot because this is clearly two cats and that's all the G has

No he has no idea wtf he is talking about.
Tbh if you know anything about doing work on cars, these are actually really easy to change.
I let my mechanic friend change them because I was having him do some other stuff and he did it for like $30.
But honestly its about 4-5 bolts and these things come with all the gaskets you need.

Yea I have a friend that might be able to do it for me or with me as a team. And this is great news cause I did not want to pay $750 to get all this done. I had a feeling they were just trying to pull one over on me. Also, is this a good o2 sensor? https://www.am-autoparts.com/2005/In...DcbBoCmsPw_wcB

I don't like aftermarket oxygen sensors as they tend to go bad in a year.
I bought NGK/NTK ones for my car:

Amazon.com: NGK 24408 Oxygen Sensor - NGK/NTK Packaging: Automotive Amazon.com: NGK 24408 Oxygen Sensor - NGK/NTK Packaging: Automotive
Amazon.com: NGK 24404 Oxygen Sensor - NGK/NTK Packaging: Automotive Amazon.com: NGK 24404 Oxygen Sensor - NGK/NTK Packaging: Automotive

These are the OEM ones atleast for an 04. Not sure if they changed them for 05 but I doubt it.

Better buy a set (two) Fast Intentions HFCs from our Marketplace under vendor exhaust, you and your friend can install them! If you have sensor failure replace them only then. It is possible to clean them while they're out with carb cleaner and reinstall them in the new cats...Gary
