Hey guys, so I've had my door apart for a couple days trying to figure this thing out...this morning i went and threw the door card back in and connected all the plugs...low and behold the switch began working! My motor is fine and I again have working windows. Moral of the story I'm guessing is MAKE SURE ALL OF YOUR CONNECTIONS ARE SECURE!! Thanks for all of the input guys!

Quote: I know this is a stupid question but do you have the window lock on the driver master switch pressed in by chance?
I would like to thank you personally on this subject. I had a passenger motor problem on my daughter's 2005 G35 coupe. I have an electrical engineering background and really thought that I had it diagnosed to the motor. Nope. She had accidently pushed in the windows lock button. It makes me wonder how many people didn't realize the same thing. It took me tearing it all down to realize it, but I learned something. Your post was invaluable. Thanks.
Jeff

Did he move on to another brand? Thankfully, I don't have to come to the forum for much because the G35 still runs great.

Honestly I don't know. His posts got fewer and fewer and I think the last time he logged in was last summer. I sure do miss him on here and I know a lot of other members that do as well.
