Hey guys,

Just bought an 05 Coupe w/ NAV/PREM/SUS/DG last night and LOVE IT!!! But...Today Im driving around notice a noise coming from the front tires I guess. Its making a clicking/chugging sound when the car is rolling, but when I step on the brake to slow down the sound goes away and just comes back when I start to accelerate again. I brought the car back to the dealership and they confirmed the same sound and were somewhat suprised themselves. No one was there in service at the time so they wanted me to keep the car there and take a loaner. They are gonna look at it on Monday, but they were saying that because it could have been sitting there for awhile, there may be some rust on rotors or something loose. I took the car with 14mi. and have put on 100mi. (1 day). I shouldnt be having problems with this so soon!!! Has anyone had this similar problem with the car whether it was right after they bought it or even after and if so what is it? I friggin pissed as it is right now and I dont want to get upset for no reason. I'm thinking I should ask for a new car if its something serious or just let them fix it. Please share any advice/opinions/solutions to my problem...THANX!!!!!!

I highly doubt it though. It is likely something stupid, and it is not that uncommon
with a new car or anything else that's new to find some little buggaboo.

 

I had the same problem with my car a few months ago. It turned out to be nothing more than a nail lodged into my tire. Good luck, I'm sure they will be able to correct it.

This is the BEST time to ask for stuff you want or stuff you want a discount on!!!! They will try to make you happy since you haven't recieved the survey yet...and believe me that survey is like kryptonite to those bastards.

For example, car cover (est $295), or even chrome Infiniti license plate frames (est $60) to replace the dealers crappy plastic one. This is what I intend on doing when taking it in for the first oil change as there are a few defects that are making me "unhappy".

I just have the SAME problem on my G35 6MT at 445 miles!! When I turn all the way to the left, the front-left tire screams. I already made appointment on 3/2 to check it out (but it is not the dealer I brought the car from). DAMN....
