MP3 Lovers Read this

MP3 lovers...our dreams have come true. Phat Noise, the original creators of Kenwood's Music Keg, just released a version that works with our exisiting head unit, with no FM Modulation. It is a bit pricey, but total intergration, with up to a 60GB drive. Check it out...

is this the only solution without going through the FM module?? I don't quite understand how this is hook up to your car stereo and control by your OEM car stereo.

• Installs with 4 self-tapping screws
• Lightning fast USB 2.0 cradle (USB 2.0 transfer speeds only available on computers that feature USB 2.0 hardware)
• NOTE: This PhatBox replaces the CD changer in the car. Both may not be installed at once.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

how are we going to install that? can we even take out the 6-dsic changer that came stock with our car? the install would be expensive....

oic. if it replaces the OEM changer, that's not good. what if I buy a CD once a while or my friend gives me a CD? that mean I can't listen to it immediately? I will have to go home, do the transfer and then listen to it?

I would say that the existing 6-disc changer in the G35 will still be active if you buy this. The Phatbox probably plugs into the N-Bus connecotr in the back of the Headunit and is operated by the SAT button.

On some SONY Headunits that are not specifically designed with XM radio in mind, you can add the SONY XM Tuner and use the H/U CD chagner controler to operate it. It seems that the phatbox works in the same manner.

it'd be good if Phatbox can emulate a SAT radio tuner....
than it'd be perfect, we'd get the CD changers AND mp3 player, all controled with the headunit and steeringwheel controls....
