06 g35 coupe gas gas cluster not workin
How to test the cluster - Minus the pictures:
The temp and fuel should go to the halfway mark and the RPM/speedometer should go up as well.
1. Turn ignition switch ON, and switch the odo/trip meter to “trip A” or “trip B”.
If the self-diagnosis function is activated with the “trip A” displayed, only “trip A” display is reset.
2. Turn ignition switch OFF.
3. While pushing the odo/trip meter switch, turn ignition switch ON again.
4. Make sure that the trip meter displays “0000.0”.
5. Push the odo/trip meter switch at least 3 times (within 7 seconds after the ignition switch is turned 6. All the segments on the odo/trip meter and A/T indicator illuminate, and simultaneously the low-fuel warning
lamp indicator illuminates. At this time, the unified meter control unit is turned to self-diagnosis mode.
7. Each meter/gauge activates during pressing odo/trip meter

This is what needs to be done after its done? my mechanic does a very good job and the fuel pump was replaced and the whole assembly of fuel sending units and im going to try the above post. I think i need to do more than that by the way?

There isn't a calibration for it unfortunately, it simply displays the information sent to it. If the display is wrong during the self diagnosis then it's definitely broken, also possible however that the signal from the fuel level is not making it to the dash correctly, possibly a damaged wire.
Did the mechanic verify proper signal to the unified meter (dashboard) the white wire with black stripe should have the correct signal based on actual fuel level, this can be tested first at the top of the fuel pump at the first harness and again at the unified meter harness to verify it's the EXACT same. Main harness readings should be 3 ohms for a full tank to 80 ohms for an empty tank.
