What is my 05 G coupe worth?

Thinking about selling my Black 2005 G35 Coupe. Its the REV up model with 52,000 miles. It is bone stock except a CAI and high flow cats. Tires are brand new less than 100 miles Continental Extreme contact. It is in very good condition with no issues. Never seen snow car I got the care from Georgia and I've garaged it every winter. I have a clean car inspection report on it from when i purchased it 3 years ago. I completely re-vamped the stereo system with a Pioneer Double din head unit and trunk subwoofer mounted in one of those side boxes. All speakers throughout were upgraded and it has 2 amps on the side of the trunk in a custom rack. Stereo sounds excellent. Only reason i am considering selling it is I just built a new house and have a lot of stuff left to spend $ on so i could use the cash to finish some projects so I am not desperate to sell it. Located near Cleveland Ohio.

I quickly checked 2 websites that value cars, entered the zip for Cleveland and filled out all the options available. Here are the private party resale amounts each listed.

KBB $10,585
NADA $11,900

Remember that mods like stereo systems, HFCs and intakes actually reduce the resale value to 95% of car buyers out there. Some believe it adds to the value but that just isn't true. If you do decide to sell it GL and let us know what it goes for.

Thanks I looked at KBB and NADA but i know a lot of times they are on the low side. Yea i might take the stereo out and put it back to stock as i figured it wouldn't add much value to a prospective buyer.

I'm honestly amazed value is still that high! I would definitely pay extra for those mods, but to the average joe who buys a G35 now a days they don't want to pay more then KBB because of some sound upgrades. I plan to go back to stock when I sell the car (stereo).

My 2005 currently have 209,000 miles. Your only 52,000? WOW. Still running strong with 209,000 miles. Good luck with the sale.

That is a clean 05 with low miles. I would list it at $10,500 and remove your mods. Although its a very clean car, in the end, its a 12yr old vehicle already.

Good luck with the sale.
