completely dead

Hello,
I go this G35 low miles since less than 1 week and I ran in so many problems
that it never happened to me with wither BMW, FIAT, Alfa Romeo, Ford, VW.
I am really so disappointed.
This morning the car was completely dead and it is still now.
No battery. I supposed the battery was broken and I hoped so.
But the battery run dry. I could start up the car with cables connecting to my other car.
The problem now is how did it get dry ?
The only thing different from usual is that I turned ON the switch of the light inside the car. But this is normal. The lights turns off when I close the doors.
So could it really be that ?
I am afraid there is something unknown draining the battery.
Any known issue on these car with battery draining ?
thank you very much for any help.

well this is really weird.
car completely dead dash completely dead. no electricity.
I connected the G35 battery to my old bimmer. It did resurrect. So battery was drain not broken.
I left it like 10 minutes connected. I Switched it off, and I had a long afternoon I Went to O'reilly and I bout a charger to plug in the battery.
After about 5 hours I came back to my G35 to start it up with my bimmer battery.
Before doing that I tried anyway to open the G35 and it did open!
Magically everything was working inside.
And it also did turn on without any help!!
How this can be possible ? How just 10 minutes charging to my bimmer could have fixed it ?
the dash was completely dead, and when turning the key nothing would happen.
I Am really concerned about the cause.

You are disappointed because you didn't do your due diligence when purchasing a used vehicle. Did you ever check the date code on the battery?
If the battery cells are dry, the previous owner neglected battery maintenance.
Shame on the previous owner and shame on you for not inspecting the battery cells prior to purchase.
Did you ever try putting a charger on the battery after adding distilled water to each cell?
Did you ever test the individual cells in the battery to see if they hold a full charge?
Did you ever consider purchasing a battery hydrometer to test your battery? (About $10.00)

If the individual cells fail to hold a full charge replace the battery and use a multimeter to check the alternator voltage output.

Hello telcoman!
the battery is sealed not possible to inspect/add fluid.
The previous owner would not let me take it out and he did not even remember if he changed it.
Anyway I'll change it even if now it is "temporarily working", and even if I am not sure it is a battery issue or something else.

From everything you posted it sure sounds like a failed battery, you can temporarily breathe life into a battery with a jump start but I would take the entire vehicle to a reputable battery / alternator shop and have both those items tested to be sure.

If the battery stamp is > 5 years then don't bother testing it, just replace it now or you're going to be stuck doing it during the winter.

I'm guessing you turned the interior light switch to the ON position instead of the DOOR position which kept the light on until the battery was drained. Check to make sure it's truly going out when the doors are closed.
