Paint on Seats...Darn!
Well, those of you with kids can probably relate to this. I picked my 11 y/o daughter up from an after school event in my 05G35C one night and let her sit in the front seat. We had a good discussion about all the activities going on at the Center and she mentioned they got to make some cool t-shirts....
Well, when I got home I found out that the cool t-shirts included painting them....AND SHE WAS WEARING HERS!!!!
Anyway, because it was dark out...I did not get a good look at the damage til morning and it turned out to not be that bad. My question is how can I remove the light smear of white paint on my front passenger seat (black leather)? I tried leather cleaner and other "soap and water" solutions but it still there. Don't want to try any thinner cuz I am afraid it will ruin the seat. Any advice you all can give me will be GREATLY appreciated....and save my daughter from military school (just kidding).

likely a shirt paint was plastic/rubber/poly based (I did this with my daughter many years ago)
Cleaners you might try
1) rubbing alcohol (90% vs 70% if possible)
2) acetone not as nasty as thinner, but meaner than alcohol
3) thinner
key is to have the leather treament product right there
if you use thinner or acetone to get it off,
use alcohol to clean off the thinner
Then go at it with the leather treatment
be careful you don't lift the dye out of the leather
(i.e. blot, loosen, remove.... DON"T rub it in like crazy)
