Learning new things as I work on my son's 2004 G35. The skid plates were removed a long time ago and I'd like to reinstall them. I have the plates, (for some reason it comes in three separate pieces), but do not have any of the bolts. Does anyone know if a bolt kit exists to help me reinstall these pieces? If not, is it just a bunch of 10mm bolts? I've checked Amazon and a few other sites but am unable to find anything.

 

Skid plate? Are you referring to the piece that covers the bottom end of the '04 engine, keeps dirt and moisture out? Bottom engine cover! The 10mil bolts should handle it, you might check with Nissan to see what they might have to offer...never hurts to go to the source! Also, check out on our Marketplace "Steam boat Willie" that sells a very cool aluminum plate that has a door for oil changes...includes everything needed to install.

Might be easier to just order up the new ones, the bolts are under $1 apiece for OEM ones through the dealership. Here is the parts list and diagram of the components for a 2004, this site is an Infiniti dealership with an online store, you can take these part numbers to your local Nissan / Infiniti dealership if you don't want to order online.
