Did you remove the fiberboard shroud from underneath your vehicle?
How deep was the puddle and how fast were you going?
Poor connections/bad ground on your battery cables
Did you swap out the battery with a new one or a possible defective one?

Test your battery individual cells with a battery hydrometer to make sure you don't have a weak/dead cell in both batteries.
Call AAA and if they can't get it started they will give you a free flatbed tow to the nearest Infiniti dealer.

Is your undercarriage protective cover in place?

Might have completely douched the starter with water and something got knocked loose like the solenoid signal wire or something. Think about how many lbs of force water can have, it can physically break stuff under your vehicle like sensitive electrical connections, it can also cause a lot of corrosion or simply short out a system.

I vote for the fuse box behind the battery. I had a situation in the rain last year on the way to work it was coming down good. I made it home the next day and then the car was dead on some errands. Just died. I thought it was fuel pump..etc.. had the car towed home and did all the tests. In the process of checking fuses I discovered that fuse box had gotten drenched. I removed it completely (it unplugs and can be removed from the car) and dumped the water out and removd and cleaned the oxidation from every fuse. After air drying for an afternoon I reinstalled it and it fired right up.

My car didn't come with the passenger side front wheel well fender liner, I should find one and install.

I wonder if the OP ever got it started?
Perhaps he is still drying it out?
