Cruise Control button relocation

I have an 05 G35 with Uprev which gives me 5 maps and it is controlled by the cruise control buttons on the steering wheel. I'd like to go to an aftermarket wheel. Has anyone ever relocated these buttons, even to aftermarket buttons so I can still use them to change maps but with wheel that doesn't have buttons? I have an idea of how I'd like it to look but I'm not sure it's even possible

Thanks in advance

The buttons are just momentary switches, just hook the wires up properly and you'll be fine, literally ANY momentary will work.

That is a very creative place to relocate the factory switch assy though, +1 for that.
