Ok so you can flame me all you want just want at least on legit response...is the light always on ir does it mean something. With all the issues i have had lately i cant tell if the light is new or if it was always there. I assume its always on and just tells me thats the temperature gauge but you never know.

When I bought my car that was one of the things that took the longest to become accustomed to was the dash ALWAYS being on. I wish all cars behaved like that now.

 

Maybe just the camera angle but if your temp goes exactly half that is over heat. the needle should be just below the middle line.
