Are there any trackdays at like Gingerman, Blackhawk, or Putnam? I think I would destroy my stock brakes on the first lap at RA.

Wow nice pictures. Looks like you had fun. In the pictures, it looks like the G is a whale. Look at the damn roll. Haha

How do brakes burn up? What happens when that occurs? Why did Infinit cover it when he tracked the car?

What are you talking about? maybe you misread.

His brembos were damaged while tracking the car at road america, Infiniti covered the repairs

Actually the first time I attended in april, I was on my stock brakes . The Brembos I put on for the october event. I bought them from someone on this forum. Me and Riffster are both automatics w/ brembo conversion. The stock brakes worked just fine with the stock pads. Slight fade but goes away quickly. Just make sure not to ride the brakes, just slam on them, stop, make the turn, gas.

We will be going to gingerman in the summer also drop me a PM if interested, They have open track days for like $60

he meant did he make the brake coolers, and is a list of parts available so he can put one together for himself.....(sorry to chime in, just clearing stuff up)

Road America is a very fast course, your brakes get one hell of a workout. You are constantly slowing down form high speeds. 120+ mph for the G35 on the main straight, (vettes and porches are going even faster!) . Your brakes start to heat very quickly and you start to feel fade . 6MT4ME's brembos turned orange from the heat!
Some tracks like gingerman aren't as fast and you won't have to worry about your brakes.

Thanks, for clearing it up.

Not sure what he used, just some duct tubing and hard work
