Stiff gears after new clutch

Okay, so I have a 2006 manual g35 coupe with 73k miles, bought it at 71k miles. I needed to replace the clutch and flywheel so I got a Z1 motorsports stage 1 clutch kit and an OEM flywheel. I replaced the transmission fluid with OEM Nissan transmission fluid. After the install my clutch pedal length seems to be half of what it used to be and engage right when I take it off the floor (not sure if this is normal or not). What isn't normal is when the weather is cold and I give my car a cold start, the gears are very stiff. It's it quite hard to put into any gear, particularly 1st and reverse, I don't remember this happening before the clutch change. I'm going to try to figure out how to adjust the pedal and see if that works. Any suggestions?

I had a shop install the clutch by the way.

You should always replace the clutch master cylinder, clutch operating cylinder, and all fluid when doing a clutch. Sounds like you're not getting the proper stroke from the operating cylinder.

Also, you don't adjust the pedal, there is a set distance for the clutch clevis pin in the FSM, dinking around with the travel risks breaking stuff and I definitely don't recommend it.

If it's not working right take it back to the shop and tell them so, they shouldn't have let the vehicle go if stuff is still broken.
