Hi guys,

The seat heater light on the passenger side doesn't work. I want to replace it. I was able to remove the centre console but when I tried to look for a lock, screw or latch on the seat heater switch, I couldn't find one easily. A couple of questions:

1. Does anyone have a step by step on how to remove the switch from the console? I just don't want to break anything so I'm being a little careful here. I've seen the light mod tutorial but it doesn't have any details on removing the switch
2. What is the specification on the seat heater light that I would need to buy? I think I've seen some people recommend a 12v grain of wheat bulb but want to make sure (I assume it's the same as the clock lights?)
3. Does anyone have a website I could purchase the light from?
4. I've heard the switch may also be faulty -- how much does a seat heater switch usually cost?

Thanks in advance!

There's a couple screws holding the switch in place under the center console. I'd just replace it instead of breaking open the switch. Thats how it was at least on my 06 coupe when I tapped into those switch wires to install leds

Check the FSM under the section SE, Seats, and look for the wiring diagram so you can verify there is actually power going to that switch.
