Unhappy I am I that Dumb....

So I did the power window reset.... I has work fine for a week... Now it has started the auto down when you open the door and now it will not roll up.... Each time you open the door it goes down more and more and now it's stuck all the way down... What in the Hell did I do ?? How do I fix it. If this has been covered before please post a link for my Dumba**... So much for taking the G to Nissan Fest today..... Going have hide the Kia somewhere

That's basically what mine started doing when the motor went out, behaving erratically. You can unplug the motor harness and use a digital multimeter to verify the polarity on the 2-wire plug switches when you press the up/down window switch. If it's getting the proper power then the motor has failed. Fortunately it's easy to replace on the coupe.

Did u you try the key method to at least roll it up when you park? Put key in door lock, twist left and hold for a few seconds.

Just tried it. The motor makes noise but doesn't roll up. Going to mess with it in the morning.

Ah, damn..that sucks. At least you know the motors good. That one always works for me whenever my window starts being a d!ck.

But yeah, also, if you hold your unlock button on your fob for a few seconds, it'll roll both front windows down automatically. Great for the summer time to let out the crazy internal heat really quickly.

They look the same externally and mount the same, my only concern would be that some Nissans don't have the calibration button because of a different style of calibration used (hold the window switch down for 10sec, then up for 10sec) as opposed to our "reset button" on the motor style.

Well I will pick it up (it's cheap and close by) and give it a try. Then pass on the win or fail of it.
