G35 rim squek and brake smoking
Ok, so I just got new 20 inch rims for my g35 coupe, I had 19 inch rims on them with nothing wrong with them. When i installed the new 20 inch rims today, which fit fine and tires fit good as well, I get a squeaking noise when the car is just rolling. Also, now I experience smoke coming from the rear wheel wells and smell a burnt smell. This only happened today when i put the new rims and tires on, which makes no sense to me. Hopefully someone will have the same issue or know how it can be resolved.

Probably py the caliper but it should be really obvious what the problem is once you get it up on jack stands, either the tires will turn or they won't, one set of brake pads will be 100% worn off or you will see where it was rubbing significantly and wearing the tire apart.
The tires turn on jack stands and dont see any wear. do you just think the rear brake pads are bad. That wouldnt make since to me though because this didnt even start happening until i put the rims and tires on. The rims are 20 inches and the tires are 225/35/20 for all 4.

Just because they're new doesn't mean they work as they should. It is strange that this issue popped up just after new wheels/tires but smoking in the wheel area doesn't usually have a lot of causes. Have you checked the parking brake to make sure it's not partially engaged? Are you sure the tires aren't rubbing on something? What are the offsets of your new wheels? Are you sure the wheels aren't binding somewhere because something is now making noise it shouldn't. Do a visual check on the caliper in question and make sure the pads are installed correctly. Also see if the caliper "floats" like it should and that the slide pins aren't locked up. GL and let us know what the problem turns out to be.
I put new rear calipers and they froze 5-10k later. Soooo you shouldn't rule it out completely.
