I'm buying my Diamond Graphite G35 Coupe this weekend in Chicago. It has the $600 Aero Kit option installed, but it's already loaded down, and I don't think I can justify the extra $600 for the kit. The kit includes the front lip and 4 splash guards (the rear splash guards go all the way around the bumper). The dealer says he can remove the kit and it will look stock. I'm looking for someone interested in buying locally in Chicago, Indianapolis, or Cincinnati. I would prefer not to ship it. If you live in the Chicago area, you can have your DG Aero kit this Saturday (5/17) when I pick the car up at the dealer. Let me know ASAP. The reason is that this is NOT a dealer option. It can only be purchased at the time of order, and it is installed when the car is at port. You can purchase the splash guards, but you cannot purchase the front lip from a dealer or anyone else right now. I have seen people offer $1000 just for the front lip, but not in diamond graphite. Also, I am asking $800 or best offer. If the best offer is $600, then I'll take it. Many people do not even know it is available, but the ones that do seem to want it very badly. That is why I'm asking over factory cost. I hope it doesn't seem too out of line.

$1000 for a front lip, you are going to hell

If you don't believe me, search the forums or call your dealer. The entire kit is $600 if you buy it when you order the car. The kit includes a front lip, front splash guards, and rear splash guards. The rear splash guards rap around the bumper to give a lowered look. I believe the splash guards that come with this kit are the same ones you can buy from your dealer for $200. That means that the front lip is really $400. But again, I think you can only buy the lip when the car is ordered. I personally do not think the front lip is worth the $400, which is why I'm trying to sell it. I'm not asking $1000 for the front lip. I'm asking $800 obo for the entire kit, which, if you count the splash guards as $200 (what you would pay the dealer), then the I'm asking $600 for the lip. If you don't think it's worth it, don't offer me a deal. All I know is this Aero Kit (not Aero Package which is the rear spoiler) is a genuine Infiniti Kit which must be ordered with the vehicle. I'm certainly not trying to scam anyone. If the best offer I have is $600, then that will cover my costs (except sales tax) and I will be happy. If you meet me at the dealership in Chicago, then I will show you my receipt which proves that the Aero Kit is a $600 Infiniti option. But don't take my word for it. Just call your dealer and ask. You may have to call a few different ones because it is fairly new. FYI, the Body kit for the G35 Sedan is like $2400 (granted it's much larger and more aggresive).

$475 for the front lip by itself. I just realized you can buy the splash guards for about $150 + shipping from Grubbs. I'll probably just sell those on eBay if I don't like them. I still would like to sell the front lip locally (Chicago, Indianapolis, or Cincinnati areas). I know somebody wants this thing!

I love living near DFW. One day I'm gonna drive on over and get the body kit, retroft the new console, and get the aluminum pedals. What a kickass dealership...if I lived in Dallas I'd have bought from them.

 

Does anyone have a picture/link of a DG coupe with the kit ? I'm curious to see how it looks.....

 

Here is the link to a Brilliant Silver with the kit posted by Colonel. The lighting is kind of dark, so it makes it look more like Diamond Graphite to me. I think he's posted other pics of the sides and back, but those are just the standard splash guards.

If DFW is going to offer the front lip for $350, I wonder how much shipping will be. It sucks that Infiniti only lets you get it when you order. They also charge too much for splash guards. $200 from Infiniti vs. $140 from Grubbs. It's not like they're difficult to install.

Anyway, I'm still offering the DG front lip for $475 or best offer and the whole Aero (Body) kit for $675 or best offer. I changed my pickup date in Chicago to 5/24. Let me know if you are interested.

I have the aero kit as well, I ordered it from japanparts.com I installed it myself. There are 6 holes in the front of the bumper that has to be drilled in order for the install of the front spoiler. If you sell it you will have 6 holes on the bottom front of your bumber. You may want to reconsider selling the front piece. Just some advice. I don't think the dealer knows about this because they probably never installed one. So unless you either want to get a new front bumber and paint it or get a bodyshop to fill in the holes, you're kind of stuck with it.
