Windows.
Hi everyone. New to the forum. So I have a 2006 g35 coupe. Had to adjust the striker on the drive side door last week. Ok. No biggie. This morning my wife goes to get her hair done. So she locks the car and goes inside. Comes out for a break and both windows are rolled down. Does anyone have a mechanical reasoning as to why this would happen? Thanks in advance.

Do you have an Intelligent key? Did she somehow manage to sit on it and depress and hold the unlock button? (Or have something pressing on it in her purse?) If so, she engaged the auto roll-down feature (for exhausting hot air in summer as you approach car).
I did it once while sitting at the dining table...while it was raining....

Doesn't need to be an ikey, all G35 have the option to hold down the unlock button to automatically roll all the windows down. I can pretty much guarantee that's what happened, just need to be more careful about accidently pressing the buttons on the fob.

Yup!!! Turns out her purse had one to many things in it. Namely the keys. Thanks again.

Stevedunn68 you should start a new thread since the problem in this thread was resolved by taking the keys out of the wife's purse so the unlock button wasn't getting depressed thus rolling the windows down with the auto function from fob.
